Curatorial Activism Post - David Gonzalez

Chapter 2

1. "In fact, leaving your normal surroundings can help promote the kind of break from habitual thinking
necessary for new ideas"
Some of the most famous writers and directors often draw their material from outside sources than from
their own experiences. Thinking in a cafe, a lunch room, or at work, can often draw new neurons to start firing at different parts of the brain to create these magnificent ideas. It is never odd to indulge in new culture to draw from especially if they contradict your own.

2. "Even once the necessary time and space has been created, there’s more we can do to clear our creative
heads for creative work."
The need for more time and more planning for a creative idea is really necessary, however I'm sure Im not the
only person to suffer from writers bonk, for creativity. Art requires a long thinking process, just like any genius they require a long schedule to think to themselves on philosophy and writing.

3. "Experiment with what times of the day or week you feel most creative."
When ever I'm at the gym, working out my muscles, I always wondered how rocky would train for his matches that came up weekly, and that I need to push harder. So I start get creative with my training.
